Chattanooga Birthday
Happy Birthday, Chris! We went to Chattanooga today and managed to fit a visit to the Aquarium, Big River Grille, and the Bluff View Art District all in a day trip. Click on the photo below or here for the photos. The Art District was cool and we enjoyed a post-meal double-espresso (Chris) and cappuccino (me) at Rembrandt's coffee shop, but unfortunately we forgot to take photos of that part. It will be a great place to meet up with Mom and Dad during a meet-you-halfway visit in the future.

Part of Chris's birthday present involved tracking down a beer mentioned in a New Yorker profile of Dogfish Head (Palo Santo Marron). Success (also in the photo, a book about brewing by the guy featured in the article), although we have not tried it yet.

looks like a fun trip!! we will have to rendezvous there when i come visit at Christmas.
That beer is freakin' amazing. And I imagine it will age very well too, so put some away for a year or 5!
Yesterday I tried Dogfish Head Raison D'Etre and loved it. they carry it at the deli by my house all of a sudden but who knows how long it will last!!!
