Adventures in Hibiscus propagating: Who will survive?
We had a pretty hibiscus bush at our old house, and we wanted to try to propagate it for our new house. We put three sprigs in water with rooting compounds and planted three sprigs. The three sprigs that we planted didn't make it, but the three in water grew leaves, so we planted them after six weeks. Now one of them is thriving, as you can see in the photo, but the other two are touch and go. We hope at least two make it so we can plant one on Elkins and one on Wilton Drive!

I'm hoping that the little plants make it. The flowers are so lovely. Thanks for trying to make them available to us.
