The Silene Starburst

I've been making crosses in the greenhouse for the past month or more and now I am literally collecting the fruits of my labors. I love the starburst pattern of the open Silene fruits when the seeds have matured and are ready to be collected so I thought I'd post a photo. It is much easier than collecting Leavenworthia seeds, as the siliques shatter and you have to be ready to harvest the seeds before they fall.
