We had a visiting professor this weekend, with Dr. Delph visiting to work on a paper with Chris. They had a successful working session and we also tried some wine-expert-approved wines in the process:
We would have enjoyed a longer visit, but apparently a 28th wedding anniversary is more important... :)
We drowned our sorrows in a visit to Radnor Lake, a State Natural Area that we have been meaning to visit for awhile.
It is a lovely area, and we enjoyed spotting all the spring wildflowers and basking turtles. In my opinion, basking should be a more common activity for humans too.
Afterwards we stopped Downtown and visited the famous Hatch Show Print. We had a nice, 70-degree Nashville spring weekend overall!

Looks like a missed a lovely day at the park. But it was fun to drive back with the new GPS unit that Ingrid talked me into buying. It made for a stress-free drive. And I was back in time to help Curt put together the new arbor in our garden for our anniversary. Thanks Ingrid and Chris for hosting a great visit.
