Chocolate and Winter Flowers

Today I got an email saying "The greenhouse has a Theobroma cacao tree which presently has several ripening fruits, the seeds of which are the source of chocolate." We went to take a look.

The fruits were yellow but I imagine the seeds are a rich, decadent brown.


We checked out some of the other flowers, fun in the middle of winter. Some of the lilies were planted over twenty years ago.
