Flowers in the Nevgev Desert

My Israeli roommate-for-a-month is back in Israel and sent these photos (apparently it is already spring there, while here we are in the middle of an ice storm!).



She gave me this Hand of Fatima for warding off the evil eye (or just for good luck) as a parting gift. I love it and it is hanging on my wall in my apartment.
