NYC Century

I did a 55-mile ride through Manhattan and Brooklyn on Sunday, part of the NYC Century ride. I rode there and back so it was more like 65 miles. Fortunately it was quite flat, so that made it doable. The best part was riding through Columbus Circle, Times Square and Union Square en masse early Sunday morning, we were able to take over the streets because there were no cars! Next up for me is Tour de Bronx, a free 40-mile ride through the Bronx Oct 21. Any loyal readers want to join me?

Wow, that sounds fun! You are a cycling force now. You should convince dad to visit you in NY and do a ride with you...
