We had a blue morning glory open this morning on our back deck. Most of our morning glories are purple and pink, but we had one blue-flowered vine survive, which puts out one flower every now and then.

Here's a view of all of our vines - we planted them to get more privacy on our back deck. This shows how the blue flower is in the minority. We have basil, thyme and new tomato plants Chris just planted in our container garden.
Chris has been good about seeing more potential in our front yard than I do. I let the front yard turn into a vast jungle when he was traveling, but now that he is back he got it into better shape this weekend with mulch and new flowers.

Nice work, Chris. The wood lattice and morning glories look lovely and make the back deck much more pleasant. If only it wasn't so stifling, you could sit out there!
Yes, its very hot out there - a screened-in porch is the way to go.
