Thursday Mornings

On Thursday mornings, I get up early and drive over to the nearby medical center to go to the Tumor Board, where doctors that are affiliated with my department at my company discuss interesting or difficult cancer cases. All hospitals have this type of inter-disciplinary (radiation oncologists, pathologists, surgeons, medical oncologists) case review meetings, generally open to the public. Last Thursday I took this photo from the parking garage at Centennial Medical Center of downtown Nashville - it is apt because moving to Nashville has been equivalent to getting to know the medical industry more than I ever thought I would!
